He was predeceased by: his wife Geraldine Brilliant; his siblings, Benjamin Brilliant, Hyman Brilliant, Ida Brilliant, Dr. Samuel Brilliant, Jerome Brilliant and Dr. Louis Brilliant; and his parents, Louis Brilliant and Esther Brilliant.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Harvey Brilliant (Jamie), Dr. JoAnne Brilliant, Dr. Margo Schwartz (Robert) and Robert Brilliant; his friend Rochelle Rikki Spector; and his grandchildren, Emily (Jason Rosenblatt), Max, Elise (Jason Morjain) and Gerry (Paul Reimer). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
