He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Meckel and Arlene Meckel. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis J. Meckel (Mosner); his children, Kimberlee I. Meckel and Philip E. Meckel; his daughter-in-law Courtney Meckel; his granddaughter KayLee E. Meckel of Baltimore; and his siblings, Roman Meckel of Sykesville, Iris Perricone (Meckel) of Westminster and Karen Meckel of Wyoming.
