He is survived by: his wife Sara Long; his children, Hope Alexandra Long and Richard Melvin Long, III; his siblings, Christina Long, Amanda Bangert (Josh Fenwick), Dustin Bangert, Jeffrey, Ruszczewski, II, Jake Davis, Heather Hester, Brittany Hester, Cody Long and Danielle Hastmann (Eric); his stepparents, James Wise and Tammy Long; his mother-in-law Lisa Ferrara; the mother of his children Nicole Long; his brother-in-law Robert "Bobby" Petr; his siblings' children, Robbie Lynn, Khloe, Ashlee, Jayden "Spike", Trevor, Dylan, Brianna, Alexis, Kinsley, Allen, Craig Jr and Josh; and his aunts and uncles, David Colwell, Betty Lam, Bill Lam, Tracey Colwell, Becky Ayscue and Bruce Ayscue.
Mr. Long gave the gift of life through organ donation on December 17, 2019.
