He was predeceased by: his parents, Katherine Maloy and George Ewing; his daughter Stacey Markwordt; his siblings, James Ewing and Regina Rosenberger; his nephew Patrick Rosenberger; and his pet Pierre.
He is survived by: his children, Lois Broughman, Samantha Ewing and Griffin Ewing; his siblings, Alice Leatherwood, Patrick Ewing and Lawrence Ewing; his goddaughter Kathy Hannigan; his pet Missy; and his former wife Patti Ewing. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and one grandchild due in May 2021; one great-grandchild.
