He is survived by: his spouse Zoila Hammond; his children, Robert Hammond, Jr. and Laurie Speights (John); his grandchildren, Morgan Hammond, Christine Hammond, Matthew Speights, Brandon Speights, Zachary Speights and Genevieve Speights; and his brother Lloyd Hammond (Joann).
