He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley; and his children, Kevin, Robert, Gary and Carolyn.

He is survived by: his aunt LeeAnna Jossey; his children, Terry White Sr., Keith Rivers Sr., Phyllis Dixon, Denise Simmons and Jacqueline Clark; and his sons-in-law, Charles Dixon and Danny Simmons. He is also survived by his wife of 43 years, his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
