She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick A. Shope, Jr.; her son Ronald E. Shope; her grandson Michael Shope; and her siblings, Elinor Wheeler, Helen Blondell, John Wheeler and Carlton Wheeler.
She is survived by: her daughter Diana M. Goldsby (Richard E.); her grandchildren, Geoffrey Shope, Amy Shope, Jennifer Shope, April McBride (Scott) and Heather Skipper (Christopher); her great grandchildren, Connor McBride, Grayson McBride and Tristan Skipper; and her daughter-in-law Nancy Shope.
