He was predeceased by: his brother Alexander. He is survived by: his wife Mary T. Karavedas; his children, Esther, Tina, Patricia and Samuel H. Karavedas II (Danielle); his grandchildren, Aristea, Demetrios and Isabella; and his siblings, Irene Karavedas Latgis, John Karavedas and Christina Zorbis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
