He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Dorsey Hobbs, Sr. and Frances Mae Hobbs (Harp); and his sister Margaret Mae. He is survived by: his sons, Samuel Dorsey Hobbs, III (Monica) and Scott Rodriguez-Hobbs (Josh); and his grandchildren, Collin, Kayla and Noah.
