She was predeceased by: her parents, Laura Santistevan and Carl Garcia; her stepfather Philbert Santistevan; and her brother Bob Garcia. She is survived by: her husband Frankie Chavez; her children, Bob Chavez, Laurie Chavez, Annette Hemberger (Phil) and Debbie Mitchell (Dave); her grandchildren, Chantell Leyba (Jerome), Randi Kenyon (Tyler), Kelly, Monica Mitchell, Jessie and Jonny Lohman; her great grandchildren, Aaliyah Leyba, Apollo and Avery Mills; and her sister Phylis Lluchetti.
