She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hackett and Betty Hackett; her sisters, Wanda Hackett and Laurie Rideout; and her niece Kiana Hackett.
She is survived by: her sisters, Connie Thomas, Kathy Chan (Alan) and Vickie Spearman (Kym); her brother-in-law Charles Rideout; her siblings' children, Cristi Carruthers (Richard), Natasha Thomas, Asia Douglas (Marvin), Sean Spearman, Catherine Venable (Billy), Baron Spearman (Felicia), Shamelle Hackett, Charles Rideout Jr., Brandon Rideout, Crystal Rideout, Adrian Rideout, Jalisa Rideout and Jenna Rideout; and her close friends, Sandy Fallin, Wilma Davis, Sidney Ellis, Joann Bowens, Pam Redmon and Marsella Kidwell. She is also survived by her sisters, nieces, nephews, goddaughter, friends.
She then attended First Charity Baptist Church with her sister Vickie.
