She was predeceased by: her father Emory Poole; her husband Charles Edward Wertz; her children, Denny, Benny Hayes and Sissy Hayes; and her brothers, Bud and Junie Poole.
She is survived by: her sons, Steven (Phillip Hayes), Pete Hayes of Pasasdena, Joe (Eddie Hayes) and Jon Wertz (Ethel Auman) of North Carolina; and her sisters, Sis Russell of Odenton and Darlene Rohr of Colorado. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
