She was predeceased by: her husband Sam D. Messing; her sister Adele; and her brother-in-law Teddy Reinhardt. She is survived by: her children, Rabbi Marc Messing (Eve), Jeff E. Messing (Barbara), Lisa Anbild (Artur) and Scott Messing (Jessica); and her grandchildren, Rachi Messing (Devorah), Deena Davidovich (Rabbi Raffy), Shimmy Messing (Batsheva), Tara Messing (Rod Rengifo), Emily Messing, Amelia Anbild, Karolina Anbild, Liliana Anbild, Cynthia Messing and Jayden Messing. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
