He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Brower and Miriam Brower. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Brower; his children, Katherine Brower (Homayoun Solaimani) of Baltimore and Gideon Brower (Marisa Kurtzman) of Santa Monica, CA; and his sister Hazel Greenstein (Hillel Greenstein) of Baltimore.

Contributions in his memory may be made to the Sidney Brower International Travel Scholarship at the University of Maryland.
