He was predeceased by: his wife Laurette Berger; his parents, Maurice Berger and Mollie Berger; his sibling Ira Berger; and his siblings-in-law, Paul Luskin, Nathan Molotch and Sonia Nechamkin.
He is survived by: his children, Richard, Lynn Berger (Feldman), Shayna Berger DeArmon, Abbe, Robert Yospa, Matthew Berger, Meredith, Adam Goodman, Max DeArmon, Blake Yospa (Rachel Leeds), Samantha and Brent VanHook; his great grandchildren, Dean, Cole, Emme, Elijah Stuart, Tyler and Chloe; his sibling Shirley Molotch; and his siblings-in-law, Tillie Berger and Nick. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
