He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ambrose Mathurin and Miriam Mathurin; his wife Rachel Mathurin; his children, Leibert, John, Leona Alphonse and Polina Davis; and his son-in-law Willie Davis. He was also cherished by six grandsons, one great-granddaughter, his beloved mother-in-law, a host of relatives, friends, many brothers.
