He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Beatrice Church and John Herbert Church; his stepfather Addison Hopper; his sister Dianne Jewell; his wife Patricia; and his children, Kathleen Weidner (Steven), Joyce Webster (Henry) of Baltimore and John Church (Kimberly) of New York. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
