He was predeceased by: his spouse Virginia Lee Jones; and his child Denny Jones. He is survived by: his children, Sandra Bonanni, Donnie Jones and Danny Jones; and his stepchildren, Anita Warnes (John) and Dusty Lynch (Judy). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren 16 great-grandchildren.
