He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rena F. Sturgill; his children, Michael B. Sturgill (Darlene), Gail Griffin and Gerald M. Sturgill; and his grandchildren, Jason Griffin, Joshua Sturgill, Jessica Dorsey, Nathan Sturgill, Katy Johnston and Haley Sturgill. He was also cherished by 10 great grandchildren.
