He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecelia Strain (Wood) and Charles H. Strain; his siblings, James, Edmund, Richard and Virginia Weaver (John); and his parents-in-law, Armetta and Gerald Bull.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Jean Strain (Bull); his children, Charles J. "Chuck" Strain, Debra Kisamore, Kimberly A. "Kim" Collier (Donald), Donald F. "Donnie" Strain (Sherry) and Stephen G. "Steve" Strain (Jessica); his grandchildren, Clayton Strain, Morgan Collier, Bryce Collier, Trent Strain, Eli Strain, Lexi Grimm, Liberty Strain, Alora Hamden, Everett Strain, Skye Strain and Isla Ford; and his great grandchild Kylen Strain. He is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
