She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Simmons Sr. and Evelyn Simmons (Warns); her brother Walter Simmons, Jr.; and her former husband John Richard Herbert. She is survived by: her son Richard Herbert (Colleen Smith); her siblings, Edith Sells and Bernard Simmons; her pets, Bailey and Lori; and her siblings' children, Hudson Lane, Cooper Lane, Eli Fouse, John Lane and Katie Simmons.
