He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Ann Lowman (Powell); and his mother Bulah Kirk of Marion. He is survived by: his children, Diana Lowman-Nehila (Deanie) of Bel Air and Michael R. Lowman of Bel Air; his son-in-law William T. Nehila, Jr.; his grandsons, Michael and Daniel Nehila; his great grandchildren, Kendal, Sophia and Brody Nehila; his half-sister Pauline Pickle of Marion, Virginia; and his sister-in-law Rose Powell Gillespie of Marion, Virginia..
