He was predeceased by : his siblings, Ralph, Dean, Walter and Mel. He is survived by : his wife Cheryl Foster; his children, Claudine L. Gardner (Stephen) and Stacey Harris (Dean); and his granddaughter Megan Gardner. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air (610 W MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM.
