James Powell Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Powell Jr. of Bethesda, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 4, 2025 at the age of 74. He is survived by: his wife Diane Powell; his son Benjamin Powell; his daughter-in-law Nicole Powell; his granddaughters, Sofia and Sara Powell; his grandchildren-in-law, Wyatt and Cassidy Blinkhorn; his siblings, Margaret Powell and Bob Powell; and his nieces, Kelley Miller and Nicole Fries.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Lakewood Country Club (13901 Glen Mill Rd, Rockville, MD 20850).
