Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Maria Rea Assimakopoulos (Bethesda, Maryland), who passed away at the age of 86, on July 11, 2019. She is survived by: her husband Basil M. Assimakopoulos; her children, Melina Assimakopoulos-Cohen (Steven), Eliana Assimakopoulos and George Assimakopoulos (Michele Pedas); and her grandchildren, Christopher, Maria Cohen, Lia and William Assimakopoulos.
