He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude L. Jones and Charlotte M. Creech Jones. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Piazzie Jones; his son Gregory Lee "Boomer" Jones; and his siblings, Pamela Jones Willinger of Tyaskin and Ricky Jones of Westminster. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Greg's Life will be held at a later date when the pandemic has subsided.
