She was predeceased by : her parents, Gene W. Smith and Doris J. Crowl Smith. She is survived by : her husband George E. Messner of Boonsboro; and her sisters, Patricia E. Webber and Jean C. Bridges (Gary). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
