She was predeceased by : her parents, Vaden H. Thompson, Sr. and Cornelia Massie Thompson; and her sister Angeline T. Gower. She is survived by : her daughters, Serieta Collins-Matthews and Shervonne Dominique Huling (Donald); her siblings, Vaden H. Thompson, Jr. (Irene), Elizabeth Lee Merchant (Joseph), Linda A. Vincent, Gwendolyn T. Poole and Rose T. James (Benjamin); her grandchildren, Trinity Matthews, Skye Matthews, Kayla Matthews, London Huling and Daniel Huling; and her godson Isaiah Reeves. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
