She was predeceased by : her spouse William Harold Reffit; her parent Edgar Burns; her brothers, Herman Burns and Leonard Burns; and her grandson Richard B. Warfield.

She is survived by : her parent Ella Burns (Parsley); her daughters, Jeannie Warfield of Durham, NC and Kay R. Curtis (Larry) of Boyds; and her grandchild Ryan Curtis of Los Angeles, CA..
