It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James J. Martell of Burtonsville, Maryland, born in Penns Grove, New Jersey, who passed away on January 5, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Salvatore Martell and Giacinta Martell; his wife Catherine Roberson of Kent; his children, I. Bill, Cecelia Pfeffer (Lee) of Burtonsville, MD, Susan Mathes (Dave) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Jim Martell (Mary Ann) of Vienna, VA and Jeff Martell (Cheri) of Potomac, MD.; and his grandchildren, Jennifer (Rob), Stacy (Rocky), David (Tricia), Christine (Dave), Sherri (Eddie), Michele (Steve), Rachael, Cassie (Ryan), Justin (Natalia), Jay (Leslie), Kyle (Jessica) and Twenty.
