He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonidas Douglas and Minnie Rebecca Perry Shenk. He is survived by: his wife Jacquelyn LaVeta Fyock Shenk; his children, Thomas Lewis Shenk of Prince Frederick, MD, Kelly Lynn Hayler of Burke, VA and Michael Keith Shenk of North Potomac, MD; and his brother Thomas Shenk of Chesapeake, VA. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
