George Short Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Short (Cambridge, Maryland), who passed away on May 28, 2018, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas Short; and his siblings, Roger Short, Sr., William Short, Sr., Harry Short, Anna Short, Carolyn Short, Mary Wiggins and Nora Myers.
He is survived by: his parent Bessie Wilkerson Short; his daughter Lori O'Connor (Michael) of Cambridge; his grandchildren, Sean O'Connor, Alexandra Woodard, Sophia Mae O'Connor of Trappe, Aiden O'Connor and Meghan O'Connor; his stepsons, Daniel Lee Shorter (Gail), Luther Burton Shorter (Sharon) and Ricky Arnez Shorter; his stepgrandchildren, Lee Shorter (Bobbi), Jason Shorter (Kim), Jenson Shorter (Courtney Pearson), Shelly Shorter Cheesman and Michelle Shorter Googin (Nick); and his sisters, Barbara Hurley of Salem and Virginia Tolley (David). He is also survived by 12 step great-grandchildren and one step great-great granddaughter.
