He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilsie Stanley Travers and Dewey Stanley Sr.; his brothers, Theodore Stanley, James "Buddy" Stanley, Dewey Stanley Jr. and Alonza Stanley; and his granddaughter Ronnissa "Bunny" Stanley.
He is survived by: his children, Andre Stanley (Ronnett), Maurice Richard Stanley, Eugene Travers (Leah), Marcus Travers, Alton Travers and Shirley Stanley Shepard; his siblings, Victoria Chester (Joseph), Lucille Rowley (Carlton), Pearl Ferguson (Theodore) and Frederick Stanley (Ruth); and his sister-in-law Deborah Stanley. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
