He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Sue Weddle Thomas; his stepmother Dorothy Thomas; his siblings, Toni "Mickie" Malick (Mike Malick) and Michael Thomas; and his son-in-law Clay Mitchell.
He is survived by: his father James P. Thomas of Cambridge; his daughters, Ashley Mitchell and Michelle Davis (Marshall); his fiancée Tina Russell; his grandchildren, Caden Mitchell, Colson Mitchell, Cambrie Mitchell and Clara Davis; his brother Timothy Thomas (Patricia) of Hurlock; his stepsiblings, Melanie Crosley (Tim), Melissa Sterling (Dan) of Mardela Springs and Craig Thompson (Terri) of Laurel, DE; and his aunt Shirley Foxwell of Cambridge. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
