He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Potter and Agnes Bromwell Potter. He is survived by: his wife L. JoAnn Hurley Potter; and his children, William H. Potter Jr. (Christopher) and Valerie Jo Mendelsohn (Marc). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews.
