He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Rebecca Bandy and William Alvin Ruark Sr.; his siblings, Carol Messick (Richard) and Joseph Terry Ruark; and his aunts and uncles, Robert Ruark, Nora Ann Hubbard of Secretary, Kelly (Ellie Bandy) and Lorraine Myers.
He is survived by: his children, Laura (Erik Anderson) and Todd (Ashley Grant); his cousin Joe Ruark; his wife Joy; his grandchildren, Jacob, Luci, Caleb, Codi and Cori; and his sibling's children, Abby Messick, Carol Lee Peterson and John Russ.
