He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Harold Adams and Barbara Adams; his great-grandparent Pearl McDowell; his mother-in-law Susan Bishop; Jamie Ellis.
He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Shorter of Cambridge; his children, Austin Shorter and Avery Shorter; and his mother Susan Shorter of Cambridge. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
