He is survived by: his wife Janet Makel Sales; his daughters, Debra Bernese Carter (Perry) and Barbara Yvonne Sales Chism; his grandsons, Carl Develle Chism, Jr. (Carlyn), Cameron Joseph Chism, Kyle Perry Carter and Evan John Carter; his great grandchildren, Camille Rose Chism, Callier Delanie Chism and Cairo Rye Chism; and his friends, Frank Enty, Carl D. Chism, Sr. and Zuleima Hidalgo. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
