With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bernice Mae Campbell of Washington, District of Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 7, 2024 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by : her mother Clara Mae Riggins Wright; her husband Purcell Campbell; her daughter Deborah Wimbush; and her grandchildren, Donte, Kevin Jr. and Chiquita.

She is survived by : her stepfather Wallace Grant Wright; and her children, Linda (Kevin), Yolanda (David), Purcell Jr., Gwen (Patrick) and Eric. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, as well as six sisters, and a host of beloved relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness (420 Rollins Ave, Capitol Heights, MD 20743). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
