With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Ray Hodges Jr. (Centreville, Maryland), who passed away on August 25, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John Ray Hodges and Moleta Bolick-Hodges; and his son Charles "Chip" M. Hodges. He is survived by : his wife Betty Hodges; his children, John E. Hodges (Sharon), David R. Hodges (Audrey), Deborah J. Hodges-Bolino (Brad) and Jesse M. Hodges (Pat); his sisters, Janet Ransone (Jim) and Dorothy "Dot" Mann (Harold); and his grandchildren, Kenneth, Shaundra, Tina, Anna, Tony, Nicole, Michael, Jessica and Casey. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
