She was predeceased by: her parents, Ghaland E. Stewart and Elsie G. Hall (Lawrence Duel); her husband Paul Ernest Mead; and her son Lance Paul Mead (Valerie Marlene Haines). She is survived by: her son Lawrence Arthur Mead (Lorrie) of Centreville, MD; her son-in-law Brian Haines of Ridgley, MD; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Mead, Lisa Wilkens, Jerrod Waite, Kelsey Waite and Jacob Waite.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newman Funeral Home (408 S Liberty St, Centreville, MD 21617). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Stevensville Cemetery (808 Main St, Stevensville, MD 21666).
