It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Whitney Conklin of Chesapeake Beach, Maryland, born in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, who passed away on January 21, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Marguerite Rose Whitney (Delano); her husband George Francis Conklin; her father Cecil Whitney; her son Robert Linnenkamp; her brother Douglas Whitney; and her stepbrother Raymond Whitney, Sr..
She is survived by: her sister Marilyn Williams (Dale) of Upper Marlboro; her granddaughter Chelsea Linnenkamp of Pasadena; her stepchildren, Candace Sigai (Dennis) of Salisbury and Robert Conklin of Millsboro, DE; her sibling's children, R. Shane Ciccarelli (Amy) of Minot, ND, Christopher Leeland (Christine) of Pasadena, Alexander Whitney (Danielle) of Westminster and Stephanie Bearns (Joey) of Prince Frederick; her great-niece Shannon Ciccarelli; her great-nephew Shane Ciccarelli; and her sister-in-law Ruth Whitney of Alabama. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
