He is survived by: his son Timere Burris; his siblings, Debra Wilson Thelma Wilson (DE) and Claude "Peanut" Burris (DE); and his brothers-in-law, George H. Ozene (CA) and Randy Hynson Joseph Wilson (MD). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
