It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Weitzel (Chestertown, Maryland), born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on April 3, 2019, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William James Weitzel and Beatrice Marie "Houx" Weitzel. He is survived by: his sons, Jeremiah Weitzel (Lee) of Marydel, MD and Joshua Weitzel (Jess) of Queen Anne, MD; and his wife Robin Weitzel of Fairlee, MD. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
