She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Raymond Edward Sr. and Hattie Marie Hopkins Jones; her brothers, Robert Leroy Jones and Raymond Edward Jones Jr. (Dorthra); her spouse Charles E. Cooper; her children, Darryl E. Cooper Sr. (Vernessa), Daren T. Jones, Melissa C. Cooper (Cengiz) and Tamara C. Cooper; her sister Sarah C. Temple; her grandchildren, Darryl E. Cooper Jr., Curtis L. Erskine, Durell M. Cooper and Jasmine D. Jones; her godsons, Gary Robbins and Donald Henry; and her child Sherrie L. Tilghman (Charles Jr.). She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and great-grandchildren, as well as many others who considered her as a mom.
