He was predeceased by: his spouse Raynell Smith. He is survived by: his parents, William Thomas Newman Sr. of Chestertown and Margaret Janie Weston Newman of Chestertown; his siblings, William T. Newman, Jr. of Chestertown and Shelley Amanda Turner of Smyrna, DE; his children, James Thomas Newman, Jr. of Chestertown, Emmanuel Thomas Newman of Rock Hall, Brandon Newman of Wilmington, DE, Corey Newman of Wilmington, DE, Miranda Brown of Great Bend, KS and Lakia Newman of Baltimore, MD; and his close friend Phyliss Somerville. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, one great grandson, a host of nieces and nephews.
