She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Edward Swain and Sadie Lee Webster Swain; and her brothers, Eddie Swain and Gene Swain. She is survived by : her spouse Leamon Wade Lucas; her children, Johnny Lucas, Deniece Richardson, Lee Lucas, Jamie Shaulis Usilton and William Franklin Shaulis; and her siblings, James Swain, Elizabeth Swain and Janice McKay. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and grandchildren.
