We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2019, at the age of 94, Karlyn Jean Smith (Chestertown, Maryland), born in Englishtown, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Taylor Palmer and Elizabeth Willet Palmer; and her spouse Karl Myron Smith. She is survived by: her children, Jean Anthony (Bruce C., K.), Richard Smith (Deneen, Barbara Pippin), James E. Smith, Donald T. Smith (Kim) and John T. Smith (Jennifer); and her siblings, Taylor Palmer, Thomas Palmer and Patricia Applegate. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
