She was predeceased by: her parent Charles W.; her former husband Fred Van Sant; and her stepson Pierson W. Bigelow. She is survived by: her parent Stella Townsend Kirby; her husband Pierson "Pete" Bigelow; her children, Lynda Habel (Joe) of Hazleton, Amy Huhn (Richard) of Hazlet, N. J., Brooks Van Sant of Manchester and Becky Van Sant of Felton; her stepchildren, Kitty Neff (Bill) of Chestertown and Mary Jean Kennedy (George) of Chestertown; her sister Charlotte Courtney of Chestertown; and her grandchildren, Joseph Habel, Sarah Habel, James Huhn, Nicholas Huhn, Bobbie Lynn Coleman, Warren Neff, Alex Kennedy and Ashley Bigelow.
