With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Mast Ray (Chestertown, Maryland), who passed away on May 26, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Mary Elizabeth leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Mary Elizabeth may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, J. Carroll and Mary E. Mast (Williams); her siblings, Carroll, Mary, Louise and Suzanne; her children, Benjamin (Bibiana) of Washington, DC, Alex (Linda) of Lancaster, PA and Beatrix (Trixi); and her grandsons, Kyle, Jack, Luke and Mark. She was also cherished by her husband, children, and grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church (7760 Sandy Bottom Rd, Chestertown, MD 21620).
